Flight Attendant Interview Blues

Aside from my job as a Makeup Artist I also teach English Online. I can say that I am contented with how much I earn, the work load and the scheduling. And for those who are not aware, I am also a full time mom.

I am happy juggling around house chores, online lessons and Makeup bookings because my schedule's pretty much flexible and the tasks are quite manageable. I can even go on a weekend trip with my family whenever I want to.

But there are a lot going through my head lately, things that bothers me; Like job security, Long-term goals etc.

On my First year at the University most of the girls I knew back then tried their luck on applying for Cabin Crew roles with international airlines; It was one of the most terrifying, despairing interviews I've experienced. Long lines, rigid interview process and a lot more blood pumping, heart pounding steps to be able to get the job.

I was 18 and confident at the time (and skinny too) lol. So I tried applying for the Cabin crew role for a local airline (Domestic) and unfortunately, I got rejected. My very first job interview (Cebu Pac). The recruitment lady told me that I have yellow teeth and visible moles (beauty marks) on my face, and she said the airline's quite strict with those so, better luck next time.

After two years of desperation, days and nights of routine work outs, giving birth and gaining weight (not too much though)  I tried my luck once more, that time it was with a bigger airline company from the Philippines. (PAL) and unluckily I failed for the second time. I kept asking myself if this Flight Attendant thing isn't for me or should I keep on trying?

And that story was 6 years ago.

So here I go again, tried my luck and I just want to share my story with you and hopefully give tips and techniques on how to ace those Flight attendant interviews and what you need to consider to surpass those dreadful application process.

Will be posting more stories soon!
